Don’t even think of giving up your golf game when relocating to Casper WY real estate.  Casper’s first golf course opened in 1929 and sees about 60,000 rounds of annual play.  Residents of Casper WY homes still enjoy the historic Park/Links and Highlands/Links at Casper Golf Club as well as the Paradise Valley Golf Course and Country Club, the Casper Country Club, and the newest golf course at Three Crowns Golf Club

The courses are surrounded by a variety of neighborhoods in Casper real estate that boast views of the majestic Rocky Mountains and vast Wyoming skies.  With opening day around April 1st and a season that extends to November, homes in Casper offers a surprising number of days of great fresh air, sunshine, golf and friendship.

Opening during 2005, the public Three Crowns Golf Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.   It resides on the award-winning remediation project of the former Amoco Oil Refinery along the North Platte River.  The Clubhouse includes full-service golf shop and restaurant.  The 350-acre site, known as the Platte River Commons, includes the golf course, a business park, jogging trail and parks.  Golfers an excellent opportunity to improve their game at the 13-acre practice facilities on a course-condition practice green, two bunkers, short game area and 300-yard driving range.  Three Crowns was chosen as a Golf Weeks Best in 2006.

Casper Golf Club is a semi-private golf course that opened in 1929 with the original layout of The Park/Links Golf Course designed by Robert Muir Graves.  It had sand greens as putting surfaces until 1953 when the greens were changed to bent grass and some holes were re-routed.  This course ranks #1 in the city.  The Highlands/Links Golf Course, an additional nine holes designed by Keith Foster, were opened in 1997, making it the state’s only 27-hole golf facility.

West of the city, the Paradise Valley Golf Course was built in 1956.  A lush, tree-lined course with unsurpassed playability, the private Paradise Valley Country Club (PVCC) features 18-hole with Red, White, and Blue tees.  It is supported by owners who are gifted in golf course operations and management.  PVCC offers additionally an outstanding private club dining facility open year round and offering delicious menu choices.
